I get a little jealous when I read about a runner's sign other jumping in to finish the marathon too; my bf - who even ran cross country in high school (granted that was 10+ years ago) never wanted to run with me. Just as well, his long legs probably would still put me to shame. I finally convinced him to run my first 10k with me. Yay! We'll see how that goes in November.

I'm always trying to get my hubs to do races with me too. No dice though. He does run too. He runs 4-5 miles maybe 3 days a week, but he sees me training and he's like "no way dude, I can't run that fast!" Sigh, I'm going to keep trying though!
