I read that lots of people walk the half. Do you still get your medal if you walk? On the official web page, it states you must run in a certain amount of time or you will be picked up? Just curious (can you tell I'm a little nervous?)

I think I've read this blog 10 times. As someone who has yet to even run a 5K (first one is tomorrow- ack!) but is signed up for the Disney Princess Half in February, I need all the inspiration I can get. Your description and pictures get me so psyched! I've sent the link to my sister and other members of our group. Thanks for all the info and for helping me stay motivated!

Aww, I honestly got a little teary reading that! The Princess half marathon was the first half marathon I ever ran, and it was amazing. I'd go back every single year if I had the time and the funds, but that just isn't going to happen. Someday though, I'll be back. And I'm just like you - I turn into a total kid at Disney and buy everything in sight!! Glad you had such a fun race there, and way to go catching up with Captain Jack at the end. :)
