"What do you do to get yourself motivated to run when it feels like it's the last thing you want to do?"
That's easy. I come here, to blog land. And I read the blogs of the people I "follow", the people who "follow" me, and any other random running blogs I come across. You are all an inspiring bunch. From the new runner's training for their first 5k, to those on their way to Kona for the Ironman World Championships next month, and everyone in between. Runner moms, RunnerDudes, runner's going for the 50 states challenge, runner's who are as addicted to Nike Tempo shorts as I am, runner's who use wii as cross training (and haven't' missed a single wii day in 35 weeks, impressive!), and those who's blogs make me laugh every time. I could go on and on!
I don't know 85% of you other than what I read in your blogs, and probably wouldn't recognize you if I passed you on the street (I'm usually in Heather-la-la land anyways), but reading all of your stories, all of your training and racing trials and tribulations...frankly it makes me just want to throw my sneakers on and run out the door!
So my friends, THANK YOU, all 141++ of you for being such an awesome, motivating bunch. And THANK YOU for all of the encouragement you have given me directly through my blog. It feels awesome to have such a support system. So I give you all the:

There. That was easy. What's the next question?

Blogs and bloggers are great motivation, good post!
Well said. It goes the same with me. Ana-Maria
Yeah, other bloggers are great inspiration. Sometimes I run just so that I don't have to blog about NOT running LOL.

So true.. The Bloggy community makes me HAPPY. Often I HOPE I come across something off key or off color on my runs so I have something interesting to write about..
Hey get back to Egypt!!
thanks for participating! running blogs are very helpful and motivational - we all experience the same highs and lows and the advice/input is always so helpful. having my own running blog helps hold me accountable... i can't just NOT post! (and i have nothing going on in my life that is worth talking about otherwise, not that my running is that exciting either lol) :)
Very true post!
You should stop by my blog to check out the virtual race - it's like the blogging community is racing together!
Get to work young lady! ;)

You're a huge motivation to me. Just this morning I was pushing the jogger through a 6 mile trek (I haven't gone long in a while...) and I thought, "Hey, Heather does this with a double and probably goes farther! I can NOT complain!"
Have a great racing weekend!
