Nothing. Well, something.

I've got nothing creative for you today. No Take It and Run Thursday, it's just not in me. I'm having a blah day and I'm on the worst sugar crash ever. I caved and drank the dew. Alright there is no lying now, I've been back on the junk for at least a week now. *sigh*. Tomorrow is a new day, right? Today I'm in a funk, and I just want to sit in the hot bathtub, get a pedicure, have a drink and go to bed. In reality, I will spend the rest of the night folding laundry and listening to screaming kids...but when life hands you lemons... you drink mountain dew. haha. =)

Anywho, while I go wallow in self induced pitty because I've fallen off of the "no high fructose corn syrup" wagon, I do have a FEW things for you:

1) Mel - Tall Mom on the Run is having a "medal you can wear all day" contest. And you know how I covet my race hardware!! I entered, and you can too. Go check it out here : Mel's blog

2) I saw this commercial on TV at work today. I thought it was pretty cool to see Team FIGHT on national television (ESPN)!

3) 18 more days until I get to go to Lake Placid for some Ironman and Bobsledding fun!!! I feel like a kid counting down the days before Christmas break from school! I hate to say this to all of my North Eastern friends out there, but I'm glad you've gotten nothing but rain for the last two weeks, it raises the chances we will have nothing but sunshine for our vacation, and more importantly for (Holly's) race day!

So until the creative brain cells start functioning again...have a great Thursday!

I am glad I am not the only one falling off the high fructose corn syrup wagon. I made it one whole day this week!! Like you say: tomorrow is a new day...

laughing because I just thought I had fallen off a wagon too-- the no bread at dinner wagon! Yesterday I gobbled what seemed like a loaf at dinner! Anyway tomorrow is a new day.

It's hard to avoid those tasty treats when you're having a bad day. Hope the Dew gave you the pick-me-up you needed!

wow bobsledding that sounds so cool! I say a dew once in awhile is ok..but you'll be surprised the longer you don't have it well it doesn't taste as great when you do
