Tomorrow is National Running Day, a day to celebrate the benefits of running as part of a healthy and active lifestyle . How do you participate? Put on some sneakers and go for a run. Or a walk even. Most of you reading this blog are runners, so I may as well have told you tomorrow is National Eat Lunch Day. A no brainer. But some of you lurkers out there aren't athletes.
So why not start? Use tomorrow as your official reason to change your lifestyle, and create a new you. I won't bore you with the benefits of exercise, we've all heard them a million times before. But I will tell you that running changed my life, and I know it can do the same for you!
There are some great beginner tips for non runners on the National Running Day's website. So, get to it, and report back to me tomorrow so I can give you your gold star :)
Happy Running !!

Heather,
I hope you get to give out a lot of gold stars tomorrow.
Running changed and enriched my life in so many ways.
You and I became friends because of running :)
I think that is very cool!
Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely pass this along to some of my non-running friends and office mates.
