I am leaving bright and early tomorrow morning for a mini - running vacation!! A 7 hour road trip all by myself (surprisingly I'm looking forward to that!) First stop, Washington D.C., meeting up with Holly and Jim, then off to Baltimore! Team Dinner with the Cancer to 5k folks, and a night WITHOUT KIDS (don't get me wrong, I love them to pieces, but I can't wait to actually sleep!!) , and then the Survivor Harbor 7 race in the morning! I will be pacing a Cancer to 5k participant in his first 7 mile race! I can't wait!
Plenty of pictures and a race report when I return. Have a fantastic weekend my friends! And GOOD LUCK to everyone racing this weekend!

God luck to you...and enjoy your quiet road trip!
good luck and have fun. I have my first half marathon race on Sunday. I am hoping for under 2 hours.
Have a blast. I love that part of the country! Have fun!
Sounds like such a great weekend - can't wait to hear about it!
Sounds like fun! Pacing someone would be such a great experience.
The requirements for the coast-to-coast medal are to do the Disney World marathon or half marathon or Princess 1/2 marathon and the Disneyland half marathon in the same year. I figured I'd better do it this year becuase I'm never going to get a chance to go to both coasts in the same year in the future!
The Princess 1/2 was so much fun, you're going to love it. And the race expo has the best stuff EVER!! :)
I love showing blogs like this to single friends of mine who say they have no time to run. You have two kids, a job and a life and you STILL find time to run. Hope you had a great race weekend!
Hope you had an awesome time!! It sounds like a blast!!
