We are en-route to MS and are currently somewhere in Georgia. I have handed over the driving reins to my sister's boyfriend Chris and that's a big deal for me. I have control issues when it comes to the car. It's not that I question his driving abilities, it's just one of my wierd qualities.
So I'm sitting in the back seat of my Scion next to baby Kain. I've never been back here longer than a few momwnts to strap the kids in their carseats or clean up Ritz cracker crumbs from the floor. It's suprisingly roomy for such a little car. I wish they would have used the extra room in the trunk space instead of legroom, as my normal backseat passengers legs don't reach the floor. But for the moment the space is nice.
I'm bloated and full of soda, gas station junk food and McDonalds. I aspire to be one that packs my own healthy snacks for road trips. Maybe on the way home.
We are staying at the Hilton in MS and all 3 of us are wondering if it's a nice Hilton, or one of those express-airport type Hilton's, like the one they put up in the back parking lot of the mall in myrtle (you know, the one near the airport!). I wonder because the kid in me packed my bathing suit in hopes of an indoor pool, haha. That and I am hoping for a treadmill somewhere in the building. I haven't run since Sunday (or worked out period) and I'm feeling antsy...and lazy.
Well, that's my backseat blog, I think it's naptime....
